SHEPHERD HUTS
Here we have for sale one of our 12’ x 7’ Heritage Shepherd Huts in Merlin Grey. The hut is clad in corrugated “wriggly tin” steel and sits upon a handmade oak chassis with cast iron wheels, axles, and drawbar in the traditional style.
Measuring 3.68 x 2.08m internally, the hut comes fully fitted with electrics, including 16A mains hook up, 4 double sockets and 4 internal “Kilner jar” wall lights. Outside the hut has 2 external galvanised fisherman lights for cosy nights outside by the fire pit.
The hut is fully insulated with 50mm earthwool insulation, and all the hardwood joinery is double glazed to keep the hut warm and cosy in the winter. The windows and doors are painted with Little Greene’s ‘French Grey’ which beautifully complements the Merlin Grey cladding.
The space is ready for use as a home office, with a solid oak desk, soft close drawers, and wall shelving.

All of our oak frames are handmade in green oak using traditional construction methods and mortise and tenon joints. Our workshop and offices are in rural West Berkshire, just south of Newbury.
While we don’t have a showroom, you’re more than welcome to visit us by appointment. Some of our customers like to see their project during the framing stage in the workshop. If we’re preparing a quote for you, we will typically come to see you on site.
