Oak garage complex with painted joinery

We were approached by the architect Oliver Morgan, who was looking for an oak timber framing company to help with a build in Great Shefford. The remit was to provide the oak frame for a garage complex with accommodation over. The building wanted to be traditionally framed with oak cladding to the main building but also wanted to have oak frame with infill panels to the workshop garage element on one end.
Hartwood assisted with the frame design, made and erected the frame and completed the cladding. A main contractor did the remainder of the work such as the fitting out, electrics and plumbing. The end result was a very attractive multi-purpose building that complimented the main dwelling really well.
