We were approached by this client who had been provided with a specification and costs for a garden room kitchen extension but were frankly left a little underwhelmed by the design. Hartwood Oak Buildings were able to take a fresh look at the project and come up with a far more adventurous design that exceeded their expectation of what was possible.
We were able to get planning permission for the extension and then built it as well as carrying out extensive upgrading of the main house. The clients joked later that this refurbishment work was largely a waste of time as they spent all of their lives since in the new oak framed kitchen!
The client / contractor relationship has endured to the point that one of the clients’ sons recently came to us for work experience in woodwork where he did very well indeed.
