Oak buildings should be made of oak. It is stronger and lasts much longer than softwood. But it is not just that. The look of oak is incomparable to anything else. Saving a few pounds by using softwood timbers can be a false economy – it simply doesn’t look right.

We construct our buildings entirely from oak. The joinery is generally handmade oak unless you specify otherwise. The exterior cladding is also sawn oak, secured with stainless steel fixings. We finish the roofs to your specification with traditional clay peg tiles, natural slate, thatch or even lead sheet.

Our aim is to provide a traditional oak building that will look beautiful and last for generations.
